Plymouth Road (between US-24 and Farmington Road) $2,047,813

This MDOT (Michigan Department of Transportation) project was federally funded. As a subcontractor, Century Cement Company, Inc. did its part to complete this job in a timely manner. The project called for restrictive lane closures to relieve the stress of high volume daily traffic activity. Century Cement not only was able to maintain these restrictions, but did so with no traffic incidents. Century Cement constructed pedestrian traffic to be more accessible for Americans with disabilities.

City of Inkster (2015 Water Break and Pavement Repair) $1,115,387

The City of Inkster put out a bid in which the engineer installed a possible performance based two additional year extension for numerous water main break restoration as well as various deteriorated pavement locations. Century Cement Company was able to gain the additional two years due to workmanship and speed of completion. Both have strengthened their partnership through thoughtful cooperation and safety implementation.
