About

Program construction consists of a sequence of refinement steps.

Century Cement Company, Inc.
The company originally started by Louis Pighin and his two sons, Mario and Gino.  They would dig basements on their lunch breaks from one of the auto manufacturers.  It was here that they started making more money "on the side" then at the factory jobs.  In 1962, Mario Pighin decided to go out on his own because his father closed down Louis Pighin and Sons.  Mario started Century Cement Company, Inc., a Michigan based company.

While digging basements Mario also attended trade school.   It was during this education he learned construction.  He then shortly made the decision to start working on subdivision sidewalks in the City of Detroit.  It was here he refined his craft of concrete construction.
Mario had two children, which he passed the business down to.  Alan and Lana both expanded the company and started focussing more on doing work for the Michigan Department of Transportation.  Both seen the value in working on goverment funded projects.  Century Cement Company was able to survive the 80's economic downturn and grow.
In 2010, Suzanne Pighin bought the company and became the sole owner of Century Cement Company, Inc.  Century currrently is expanding into new markets and looking to help Michigan fix its failing infrastructure system.
